Ian Lane: Paperweight

Ian Lane

Steven “Legs” Lane was a trooper in the Special Air Service and a member of the eight man Bravo Two Zero patrol group during the First Gulf War. He died whilst evading capture on Iraqi territory in 1991.

Ian Lane is Steven’s son – a stand-up comedian, DJ and recent Asperger syndrome diagnosee. He remembers very little about his father, so has tried to learn more through the writings of literary savant and light dodger Andy McNab. However, Lane is generally uninterested in dead relatives, and would rather do a show about upmarket stationery, transport infrastructure, debating techniques and the shape of your potato chips.
